BRENDAN GLEESON, SAM KEELEY JOIN CHRIS HEMSWORTH, CILLIAN MURPHY, BENJAMIN WALKER "IN THE HEART OF THE SEA"! VIRGINIA MADSEN, MILO VENTIMIGLIA, PETER FACINELLI, WILLIAM H.MACY IN "WALTER"! LOVELY NEW "FROZEN" DISNEY TRAILER

IN THE HEART OF THE SEA
CHRIS HEMSWORTH, CILLIAN MURPHY, BRENDAN GLEESON, BENJAMIN WALKER
Even more stars are lining up for the male cast of the upcoming adventure movie IN THE HEART OF THE SEA. The latest one to join Chris Hemsworth, Benjamin Walker, Cillian Murphy and Tom Holland are Brendan Gleeson and MISFITS' star Sam Keeley. The story, which inspired Melville to write MOBY DICK, will be directed by Ron Howard following famous ship Essex! Cillian Murphy will play Matthew Joy, second mate on the whale ship Essex. Citing reports of cannibals in the Society Islands in 1820, Joy and first mate Owen Chase (Chris Hemsworth) convince first time Captain Pollard (Benjamin Walker) to sail to South America after an enraged sperm whale rams and sinks the Essex, leaving 21 crew members adrift in small boats, 3,000 miles from land. Adrift at sea for 90 days, they suffer through disease, starvation and, eventually, cannibalism. Brendan Gleeson will play one of them in older age while being interview by Melville. Sam Keeley will be one of the crew members.

  'WALTER' DRAMEDY
VIRGINIA MADSEN, MILO VENTIMIGLIA, PETER FACINELLI, WILLIAM H. MACY

Quite a strong cast will also be seen in indie dramedy WALTER which has Virginia Madsen, William H. Macy, Peter Facinelli, Milo Ventimiglia, Neve Campbell and Justin Kirk in the cast. Andrew J. West takes the lead role of a young man who believes that he is actually the son of God. As such, the eternal destiny of everyone he encounters is his responsibility — which is a lot to manage along with his job at a movie theater, his loving but neurotic mother, and his growing but unspoken affection for his co-worker. Life becomes even more complicated when a mysterious figure appears who forces Walter to examine the true meaning of life.

  DELIGHTFUL "FROZEN"
 JAPANESE TRAILER
The only trailer I have for you in the dry holiday week is the Japanese trailer for Disney's animated movie FROZEN which hits cinemas this Winter! It's certainly funny watching a trailer with Japanese voice-over :) but the clip shows us what we haven't seen in recent US teaser for the film.  The movie follows fearless optimist Anna (Kristen Bell) who teams up with mountain man Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna's sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

  1. Walter sounds interesting - and it's got a great cast. I love William H. Macy.

  2. Brendan Gleeson is brilliant and I'll watch anything with him in it. I'm familiar with the story in the film and remember quite fondly the Python's skit based on this incident. One of their best skits ever!

That was pretty neat seeing the trailer in Japanese. That's going to be a fun film.

    1. his son is also a nice actor, not like them Hollywood sons and daughters of Hollywood stars who want to be like their parents who don't have much talent themselves.

Hope FROZEN does good, most of recent Disney's animated flicks were lovely

    2. his son is also a nice actor, not like them sons and daughters of talentless Hollywood stars who are put in the business by their parents.

    1. and I imagine we shall be seeing lots of naked Hunksworth in it since it's a sea movie and them not having anything to wear in the open sea but rags :)

  6. I haven't heard of the Sea movie yet. Definitely adding that one to my must watch list.

We adore family movies, and can't wait for Frozen! The trailer is quite funny to me. We bought the Tom & Jerry boxed set from Ebay a few years back and it was completely in Chinese (What do you expect when you buy from the Chinese on Ebay? lol). Which was weird though, because all the print on the box was English. Thankfully, there isn't a whole lot of dialogue in Tom and Jerry!

  8. I'm a Chris Hemsworth fan, but that movie sounds too dark for me. The other doesn't appeal either, but I hope "Frozen" is cute. I may not be a kid, but some of the animated movies are wonderful and make me laugh! :-)

  11. Chris Hemsworth could be Mark Wahlberg's brother.

Both those movies look good - but animation fallen out of favor with me lately. I blame Archer!

    1. can't say I'd agree on the comparison, Donnzie. While Wahlberg is egoistical and cocky without reason and justification and is not really attractive and likeable, Chris is nice, down to earth, kind, family man and stunning with his warm hotness :)

ARCHER is probably the most horrible thing I've ever seen on TV - loud, stupid and even offensive.

  12. Can't wait for Cillian's movie :) I am not a fan of Hemsworth as his Thor didn't impress me much...maybe he'll show something good in that upcoming movie. Glad to see Cillian and Gleeson back together again for probably the 6th time ;)
